个人简介     王万林,男,美国卡内基梅隆大学博士,中南大学升华学者,特聘教授、博士生导师、钢铁研究所所长。2000年本科毕业于中南大学冶金工程专业;2003年获得美国犹他大学冶金工程系科学硕士学位;2007年获得美国卡内基梅隆大学材料科学与工程系博士学位。师从国际著名冶金材料专家,美国矿物、冶金、材料协会(AIME)主席, Cramb教授。 2007-2009,就职于国际知名企业:利洁时(Reckitt Benckiser 500强企业),北美研发中心任高级研究科学家。 2009年被中南大学从美国引进回国, 聘为中南大学升华学者特聘教授。主持或参与了中日韩政府间合作、国家自然科学基金、国家科技部、新世纪优秀人才基金、美国能源部和美国国家自然科学基金等20项重大课题。研究领域涵盖材料冶金高温过程(钢铁冶金)、热动力学、钢铁材料及电化学腐蚀等。已在国际材料冶金重要刊物或会议上发表文章50余篇;20次应邀在冶金国际会议上作报告或作为分会主席。已获国家优秀青年基金、新世纪优秀海外人才、湖南省杰青、TMS墙报竞赛冠军等奖项。
